Point Grey posted winning results at the 2013 Sand Castle Classic 10k on June 9th. Jen Moroz of Point Grey TFC easily won the women's race in 37:25. She has steadily improved this year and will be racing more of the Timex Series and Lower Mainland Road Racing Series this summer.

Masters runner Beverli Barnes won her age group with a three minute personal best time in 47:13.48. Bev who joined the club this year said, "Running speed workouts this year had definitely made me faster. This is the first time I've won my age group in the series."

Carey Nelson also won his age group in 35:09 and finished 4th overall.
